Damn Damn

As promised, here is the new T-Wayne track called "Damn Damn" and it was sampled in The Carter Documentary. It's very good, usually I'm picky with Weezy songs. I apologies for the DJ version but it's the best I can do right now.

Some Songs are Just too Good

Honestly, songs like these are the reason I'd want to DJ a club. A friend of mine hooked me up with this, and said it instantly became his favorite song and I can see how amazing it could be to electro loving ears. I don't know too much about Lazee (In Photo Above) or Neverstore and it's the first I hear of them, but I should definitely do some research.

U2 - Remixes

It's been a while since I've posted some good club songs and I found a nice opportunity.. I've had the "Get on your Boots" remix for a while now but it took me quite a while to get my hands on a good quality version of Dirty South's "I'll Go Crazy" which I heard a few weeks ago late night on satellite radio. Luckily shazam is the shit.

PURE

Pure St. Barth Magazine is the a magazine that covers things like rock stars to beach houses to landscapes on the high class prestigious Island of St. Barths. A friend of mine returned from this breath taking vacation spot and showed me this magazine started by Jean-Philippe Piter. The man was inspired by the beauty of the island and started taking interesting snapshots of what he thought was interesting, and what appealed to people like me as well. For example, interesting architecture, gorgeous landscapes, lovely women, and latest trends. I strongly urge you to check out this magazine, I have posted the link below.

Weezy Track Dropping Soon

For those of you who saw The Carter Documentry, there was a clip of Lil Wayne recording an unknown track in New York. I just heard that the track is called "Damn Damn" by Lil Wayne and T-Pain and I'll be sure to post it if I get my hands on it. Below is the clip from the movie.

Summer Is Looking Fresh

Louis Vuitton introduces their new Tower Sneakers for the summer 2010. They were inspired by Kanye West and I'm pretty sure they're coming out closer to summer. Official prices haven't come out yet, but I think I should start saving up.

Rub A Dub Dub!

Haven't posted some Dubstep in a while and I think this is an amazing track. For you Dubstep fans out there, you know when your blasting this shit in you headphones and the drop is so deep that you start to feel it in your throat a little below your jaw? Haha well that's what I'm going through! It's a remix of Blue Foundation's "Eyes On Fire" done by Zeds Dead, whom I will be posting more of in the near future because I've been really into them lately.

Freed From Desire

I remember hearing this song on vacation way back in the day and it's finally making it's way back into the clubs. I saw this on the Europian top 100 dance tracks and I got a little excited because I imagined the type of remixes would come out of it. Lucky for you guys, I actually bought these two tracks because I couldn't find anything online. At least I got quality but whatever. I found two remixes, one which is house and the other a sort of lounge style. I urge you to check out the original by Gala if you've never heard it.

Closer To Dolla

Someone just showed me this song which I knew I'd like. It's a Dolla rapping to the "Closer To My Dreams" beat. I love Drakes version to it and Dolla did quite a job.. Rest in peace.

We Love Animals!

New track by Crookers featuring Soulwax & Mixhell. I'm anxious to see what type of remixes come out of this, I'll be sure to post some. This song will be everywhere in a matter of time.

Pitch Black

Pitch Black are award winning multimedia artist Michael Hodgson and Salmonella Dub producer Paddy Free. Having pumped their way through New Zealand’s electronic music scene since their inaugural performance at the annual Gathering New Year's eve festival in 1997, they have spent the last twelve years rousing dance floor punters, generating rave reviews, winning awards and gaining thousands of fans across the world.

Hard to box into a single audio 'genre,' Pitch Black is a combination of musical journeys. Their sound is distinctive; ranging from organic ambient beginnings and layered soundscapes to skanking keyboards, cutting acid riffs and thumping rhythmic grooves, with dub being the glue that holds their sound together. One critic has described them as like "Orbital meets King Tubby, or Rhythm and Sound in Technicolor." Personally, they remind me of Explosions In The Sky.

Here are their current retrospective, self-titled releases
Bird Soul - Pitch Black

I love the Dub in this one, I picture someone doing a vocal remix to it!

Unthinkable

I'll be honest, I've been waiting very long for Alicia Keys and Drake to make a song together. Alicia Keys is an artist my Dad used to play in the car and I always thought she was very talented, and Drake is probably my favorite artist out there. This track is very soothing, and exactly how I expected it to be, but I just wish that Drake actually did a verse in it rather than background vocals. The song was penned (written) by Drake which is probably why I'm so into it. It's showing his RnB side though, so I don't mind. This song is off Alicia's new album "The Element Of Freedom" which will do well I'm sure. I hope to hear more from these two in the near future! I hope "Thank Me Later" sounds like this.

Aoki's On Fire!

I'm a little late on this one, it has seem to have blown up huge in a span of 48 hours, but Steve Aoki is working really hard lately, and he is out with another remix which is dope! I'm a huge fan of this one, and I would definatly play this at a party or something. There's not much to say except for it's his remix to Kid Cudi's "Pursuit Of Happiness" so you can only imagine.
